The Methodist Church in its pre autonomous and
autonomous states has existed to spread scriptural
Holiness in the Land. In the light of the above
position, my vision for the Methodist Church and the
office of the Presiding Bishop is summaries as follows:
To reclaim the respect and dignity of the Methodist
Church in The Gambia and within global Methodism
To Encourage and harshness all the gifts and graces
associated with the Methodist People in our quest to
fulfill our purpose of existence

To Seek a Sustained team of Ministers that can
match any Methodist Standard
4.
To re establish a professional and highly motivated
team of staff that will seek the welfare of the
Methodist People ( at all times)
5.
To Develop a strategic document that reflects the
aspirations and work associated with the Methodist
Church the Gambia
6.
To reestablish the proper functioning of our
institutions. And uphold the tenanted of the
Constitution and Practices associated with the
Methodist Church
7.
To empower the youths to participate in the new
face of Methodism
8.
To support the total wholistic development of all
who Associate with the Methodist Church The
Gambia
9.
To restore the pastoral integrity associated with
Ministers and the Bishopric
1 0. To Serve the greater interest of the Church and her
peoples from a Liberative and Missiological
perspective
In the light of the aforesaid vision, I, The Reverend Bannie Ebenezer
Fanazer Manga, do offer myself to serve in the High Office of a Presiding
Bishop In the Methodist Church The Gambia.
